Bought for an 18th birthday present
Brilliant chocolate pizza especially for a special occasion. It's different and unlikely the recipient will have received another one. The person I bought it for absolutely loved it. This is the 2nd one I have bought and I will be buying another one in a couple of weeks, this time for my niece's 18th birthday.

Customer service excellence
As I was ordering from Australia I felt that the process might be quite tricky but on dealing with the amazing staff who sorted everything for me so quickly and efficiently I was over the moon. My daughter received the pizza pyramid and was amazed at how quirky the gift was and was not disappointed when she tasted it. She is still raving over it. This will now be our go to gift for all our overseas friends and family.

So very helpful
I wanted to get a pizza delivered to a relative who had been ill as quickly as possible. I rang the number on the website and the person who answered was so helpful and pleasant. The pizza was delivered the very next day and arrived when the child it was sent to was feeling quite low. It really cheered them up and they were absolutely delighted with the chocolate pizza.

Super birthday gift
This was a gift which I had delivered so can’t comment on the taste etc, however it arrived in time and I was kept informed about delivery. It would have been good if I could have personalised the actual pizza with a number and also quite expensive so only 4 stars.
Thank you for your feedback. If you were to order from us again, we do have the option to add your own personalisation to any of our pizzas via the Bespoke tab on the website. If you then select the Personalised option, you are then able to add your own wording, of up to 24 characters, to the central chocolate plaque.

Lovely chocolate slices. In individual boxes. Would have liked then all put into one box as well as they were a gift and had to wrap 5 individual triangle shapes.

Great Pizza . Good quality and value. Disappointed that the delivery company left it out side on the floor and didn't attempt to knock. The recipient was home.
We are pleased that the chocolate was enjoyed but I understand your disappointment that Royal Mail didn't knock to hand the parcel over to the recipient directly.

Good choice of present for a young footballer
It is hard for me to review this as I have had no feedback from my 13 year old grandson to whom it was sent, but it looked like a good present for a footballer and I chose the colours of his local team for the smarties. I assume it was well received and enjoyed.

I had already bought some pizza’s as gifts & a few other items. Always impressed with everything. Family all enjoyed what they’d had so when the e-mail arrived advertising design your own pizza I decided to buy one for my youngest son as he hadn’t had a pizza. Lots of variations to choose , picked what I thought he’d like. He & his partner were very pleased with it. A lovely gift to give someone. I will definitely be ordering again & would recommend buying from this company.

Tiny!
Bought this a couple of years ago, which was great, this time it seems a lot smaller with less chocolate chips. Disappointing.
Thank you for your feedback which I have shared with our Product Development team. The box size has not changed since this product was launched but there are fewer chips in each box however they are much thicker. This modification was made due to breakages during transit when there were more but thinner chips.

Choc with a difference
This was a little birthday treat for our grandson. He loved the chocolate but had one small complaint - he wanted a whole pizza not one with a slice missing! I had to agree, why not 6 slices. If you only have 5 flavours then you could offer customers a sixth slice with any of the 5 flavours available.
Thank you for your comments which I have shared with my Product Development colleague. Our slices are intended as individual portions of our larger pizzas and are packaged as separate slices. You can buy a pizza that has mixed flavours in it; this is our Delicious Dilemma. The 8 slices of the varied flavours are cut to fit together exactly and are present in a pizza box.

Great pizza
Purchased a chocolate pizza for our 25th wedding anniversary. When it arrived was disappointed to find the chocolate coin in the middle broken which had obviously happened in transit by the courier. Contacted Gourmet chocolate to tell them and I was offered a full refund or a replacement. This was brilliant customer service, I declined both of the offers as that was not my reason for telling them. The email was just an informing email about their courier. Our pizza was lovely and really thick chocolate, well worth the money. I will be using you again. Thank you for your great customer service.

Poor customer service
This order arrived 2 weeks after the event it was ordered for. When I contacted customer services, they just blamed the courier, and no refund was offered, not even a partial refund. If the courier was to blame, you could have claimed compensation from them (if you could have been bothered) and then pass this refund on to me.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I can see that you placed your order for Royal Mail delivery in the midst of their November and December 2022 industrial strike action. This therefore meant that your delivery took much longer than usual to arrive with you. I am sorry that your order was affected but I’m sure you appreciate, this was something that was completely out of our control and not a situation that Royal Mail would refund for.

Indulgence
These Hot Chocolate Bombes are delicious. They melt beautifully, and it's enjoyable to watch them melt and then see all of the marshmallows rise to the top. The chocolate is divine, pure indulgence. I love them.

Well made chocolate Pizzas
I purchased a number of the handmade Chocolate Pizzas for Christmas socking fillers & also to put with gift vouchers as presents. They arrived packed so well and the Chocolate Pizzas were just so nice. All individual wrapped and gift boxed and such good value for money. The small size Pizzas were equally a nice as the bigger size. After Christmas the feed back I got from family member who I got them for was that they all loved them. Plenty of update communication advising when to expect your delivery. Such a lovely present to buy someone whatever time of the year. On the Website there are a good variety to choose from. A very good quality chocolate. An ideal way to send someone a gift when you're far away. You do need to order a few days ahead of your desired delivery date in order for them to prepare it and get it there on time. I have been using this company since 2019 and I'm happy with it.

Chocolate bombs are amazing. Ordered these previously they are really nice luxury hot chocolates and the children love them. Did a repeat order this year for Christmas but there was a lot of damage in postage. This was the fourth time I have used this company for gifts for four different occasions and the response has been amazing, all that received were all over joyed with their pizzas and I will definitely recommend as a fun tasty present.

Lack of communication
Although the recipient said that they appreciated and enjoyed the chocolate gift, it did arrive five days late. I was appreciative that there were local strikes and logistic difficulties, however once the Chocolate left Gourmet Pizza Company that attitude was very much that we have done our job and that your delivery is now in the hands of the delivery supplier. As these types of delivery are normally time sensitive, I find it difficult yo believe that they feel this is a good standard of customer service. Needless to say I shall not be ordering again nor shall I be recommending them for this type of service.
Thank you for your feedback. We tried our best to keep you updated with the limited information we were receiving from Dpd about their suspended services. I also understand that Dpd made direct daily contact advising of the delays too. I am sorry that your parcel was one of the parcels affect by this service suspension.

Delicious as always but shipping was confusing
I love this company and would always recommend their products because they are so luxurious. However, I ordered some chocolate pizzas for some Christmas presents and I was anxiously waiting for them to arrive, I hadn't heard much about the dispatch, shipping or even the delivery! Luckily they came in time for me to give them to my friends and they all loved them. So, a little more delivery information would be appreciated in the future. Thank you for all your products and services!

Good value and tasty
The two packs of five pizza slices arrived quickly and well packed, in good time to be included in Christmas stockings for my nieces and Christmas hampers for my friends, each of them a decent size of tasty chocolate for only £2 each. I kept one for myself! Thank you very much indeed.
These slices make lovely little stocking fillers. Our Easter slice and eggs, which are a great Easter gift, will be available soon.

Excellent hot chocolate gift
We usually get our daughter the mint bombes as a Christmas filler and this year added a box of the orange ones. They're not cheap at over £3 each so she saves them for a special treat but they do make the best hot chocolate going. The anticipation, waiting for the bombe to melt and the goodies inside floating to the top is definitely worth extra. The chocolate is smooth and luxurious and if you love chocolate orange flavour then this is a must. Definitely recommended for special treats.
Thank you for your great feedback. Have you spotted that we now have a mixed bombe tube that contains both your daughter's favourite mint and orange bombes but also have a salted caramel flavoured bombe in the tube.

Disappointed
Ordered for a birthday but only arrived two weeks later by which time the chocolate wasn't as good

The Royal Mail Strike action certainly delayed many parcels however, all of our products have at least 6 months shelf life so even with the delay, the contents should have arrived in perfect condition and tasted exactly as it should. If this is not the case, please get in touch with our customer service colleague and they will look into this for you.

Good chocolate, poor customer service
One of the mini pizza’s I ordered came broken and open. I emailed customer services as advised on the website but had no response. I rang them twice and both times was told that a replacement would be sent out to me. I have still not received the replacement or an email of any kind to confirm that it has been sent.
I am really sorry that our customer service wasn't up to the high standard we expect. Looking at the Dpd system it looks like your replacement pizza has gone missing over the Christmas period so I have therefore requested a refund for this item.

Tasty enough, but very overpriced for what it was
Smaller than expected, in a cleverly disguised box to make it look bigger. The treats were tasty enough, but for only 50g of chocolate per 'slice' you really are paying for the shape and novelty value.
Thank you for your feedback which I have sent on to my Product Development Colleague. Our pizza slices are intended as a single serving so are packaged accordingly. These are priced at £2 each when purchased in the bundle or £2.20 when purchased individually. This is comparative to our competitors selling premium chocolate products.

Only received half my order
Was not sent half of the items I ordered, ordered in November for Christmas. no reply from store and no refund sent, they blamed the postal strikes.

ABSOLUTE SCAM.
How anyone can charge £8.72 for a chocolate pizza smaller than a beer mat for a glass is beyond me and get away with it.It was that small my kids could hold it in the palmof one of there hands and theres about 3 to 4 bites of chocolate at most.How these companies exist is beyond me but dont take my word for it check out the last 5 reviews on Amazon for the product i bought all 1 or 2 stars maximum stating the description should state MICRO PIZZA fit for a kids doll.

Did not send order until I chased it up
Very disappointed that although they took my money they did not deliver the pizza until I chased them up a week later! Embarrassed as I had to call my niece and ask her if my 'house warming' fun pizza had arrived ( suprised she had not text to say thanks) and she did not know what I was talking about.Followed up with an email to company - which they did not even acknowledge. Apparently the pizza was delicious and enjoyed but will not be using the company again because of poor customer service.

Lovely choice. Novel gift for Christmas
Lovely novel stocking filler for Christmas. I'm using mine to hide the grandchildren's Christmas money in as they come in individual pizza slice boxes. Great different flavours to choose from. Arrived well packed and within a few days of ordering. Pricing is reasonable and service is great. Would use this company again

I bought a set of five for Christmas presents and when they arrived I was so happy with them I bought another set straight away. They look exceptionally beautiful and well put together and I had to wrap them straight away so as not to eat them. . . I unwrapped one and ate it and it's perfect! Tight on the topping
Not much in the way of toppings eg: 1 piece of fudge on 1 pizza, 1 rice ball on another, 1 jelly bean on the 3rd etc. I expected a more generous amount....

I bought the selection of pizza slices as part of someone's birthday present. I was delighted with the available choices and thought they were great value for money. I was secretly hoping the recipient would share with me but they ate them all to themselves haha. They said they were absolutely delicious and the raspberry one was their favourite.

This product looks fantastic and was a really unique gift for a friend. The online service was easy and the delivery was very fast. However, everyone who had a slice agreed that the product tasted like cooking chocolate. It wasn’t the best flavour.

Good service
I bought the chocolate pizza for my grandson as a small gift. He was thrilled with it and shared it with his sister. I didn't get a taste, so cannot comment on that, but am told that he enjoyed it. I thought the service was good, especially given the postal strikes, but would advise ordering ahead of time with more strikes predicted.

Pizza delivery as a gift

Slightly disappointed.
I’ve been buying pizzas from here for years and they’ve always been absolutely amazing, however, having just had one delivered I couldn’t help but notice there was barely any toppings on. I selected three different toppings but the whole pizza only has 14 pieces of toppings. I’m know it’ll taste amazing as they always do but it’s a bit underwhelming given that it’s a 10 inch pizza.
Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry that your felt disappointed with the number of toppings. Our chocolatiers work to a set pattern for each pizza design, including the personalised options. These have not changed in recent years. However, I have passed your comments on to my product development colleague.

Disappointed
I ordered 3 mini teacher chocolate pizzas for the end of term, but unfortunately they didn’t arrive in time. I know it was delayed due to the hot weather but my children were upset they didn’t have a little extra present to give their teacher.
We completely understand your children's disappointment however we had to delay sending out your parcel by one day due to the extremely hot weather. This is something that is completely out on our control and in such high temperatures there wasn't any possibility that your products would arrive in one piece. We did everything we could to let you know about the delay and gave an opportunity to cancel and refund your order.

Lovely chocolate. Very good quality. I got it for a 60th Birthday party. Was great to put a personal message on it. The slices meant that it could be given to several guests to take home with them. It was a nice change from a cake.

Kids loved it.
I ordered the chocolate mini pizzas for six young relatives who were visiting and having a combined birthday as I don't see them very often. The children loved them although they thought it was quite funny that the pizzas all said " Thank you Teacher". My mistake when ordering!! Ordering and delivery was good and the pizzas looked and tasted great.

Not so gourmet...
Bought couple of items for son and husband. My sons pizza didn't go too well taste wise-chocolate is very basic although it looked nice. Husband yet to try his as not given it to him yet (dark chocolate slice). Also the delivery cost was a lot (£4.95) and came day later than promised.

I've looked into the delivery issue you raised and can see that you paid for our standard delivery service via Royal Mail, which usually takes 2-5 working days, and this was subsequently upgraded by ourselves, at no extra cost to you, to our next day courier service. As your order was placed after our 2pm cut off point on Friday, your order was processed and dispatched the next working day (Monday) and it was subsequently received by yourself on the following Tuesday. The date you are referring to from your email confirmation was the date of dispatch from us and not the delivery date.

Excellent service - novelty of chocolate pizzas much appreciated
We bought a few different pizzas as 'thank you' for our conference sponsors and also our regional group coordinators. The novelty of a chocolate pizza goes down well - but this is backed up by great taste. It works for us to order by phone and I collect the pizzas because I am relatively local. Although the system is set up for online ordering and delivery from the company, there was no issue at all in our doing it this way. The big box of pizzas was ready and waiting and I even had help to take it to the car. Thank you. We shall certainly be back.

Fantastic wedding favours

No plaque
Very upsetting, disappointing and a complete let down that the honeycomb pizzas don't come with a plaque but the strawberry and other ones do. It's the plaques that makes these pizzas look appealing and attractive without the plaques they look plain and don't look nice. I would never have bought these pizzas if I knew they didn't include a plaque and one of my pizzas was split and falling apart and these were supposed to be gifts. I wouldn't recommend these, especially not as gifts!

As shown on the product page's image gallery, not all of the mini pizzas carry a chocolate plaque in the centre as this depends entirely on the flavour chosen. We have tried to include an image for every flavour available to help clarify what each pizza should look like and each image is captioned with the flavour. In terms of the broken pizza, unfortunately, this can sometimes happen during transit and we will always strive to put this right where possible.

Good but not 'Gourmet'?
The pizza was excellently packed and presented, delivery was fast, all very good. My only comment would be it did not 'wow' me the name 'Gourmet' and package gave me the impression of something really special, but it wasn't really, sorry maybe me.

Good Pizza - DPD Let Us Down
These pizzas are a really great gift - good chocolate, nice designs and packaging. I ordered two for different addresses - one got there and one didn't. The one that got there was really well received. GCPC customer service was among the best I have encountered - immediate refund for the undelivered one. I have used them previously and will use them again.
We are sorry that our delivery partners let us down on this occasion but pleased to read that the expeirence hasn't put you off from using us again.

Birthday gift for a chocoholic
The recipient was delighted with their gift, said its the best hot chocolate they've tasted. I would just have liked the option to mix chocolate bomb flavours to try the other flavours, they are quite expensive to purchase just to try.

Amazing unique gift and so tasty
Bought this as a novel Christmas gift for my boyfriend who loves chocolate. He raved about it! The chocolate is so high-quality and delicious. As soon as he had some he insisted I had to taste it, and I agree it was excellent. Would definitely buy again, maybe as an anniversary/Valentine's gift or something else from the range for another family member.

Bought Christmas pizzas, large and small and pizza slices, all delivered in perfect condition and beautifully crafted. Very tasty, had a pizza slice myself. Order early in December for guaranteed Xmas delivery - I left mine a bit late and it was touch and go but all arrived by 23/12.

Brilliant
Bought these for my In Laws and they loved them. The newspaper in the box is wonderful, and in fact they have kept it! The whole appearance was great, smaller than I was expecting, but well worth the money for the chocolate and the fact it's a very unusual present. Will certainly be purchasing from Gourmet Chocolate again.

Simple chocolate with novelty packaging
Bought a few to go in hampers for Christmas and saved one for ourselves to try. Not quite what I expected when it's referred to as "gourmet". It's just a small triangle of milk chocolate with a few small bits of caramel, wouldn't buy again. There's nicer milk chocolate for a lower price out there, felt a bit conned. Not awfully bad chocolate, delivery was as expected and it was presented nicely hence the three stars - but knocked two stars of as its in no way "gourmet" and its more novelty packaging that you are paying for unfortunately. Delivery charge was a bit high based on the size and weight of the package.
Many thanks for your feedback. Our pizza slices are designed to be tasters of our larger pizzas, which can carry more of the flavoured toppings due to their size, but I will pass your comments onto the rest of the team in our next product development meeting.

Great Novelty
I bought 4 pizzas for my grandchildren at Christmas as I’d previously bought one and thought it was a great idea. The two younger grandchildren shared the first one I bought after we’d had a conversation about how wonderful it would be if there was such a thing as a chocolate pizza. I decided to look on the web and much to my surprise there was such a thing. I bought one and when they saw it, they were enchanted. What’s more, it was delicious and looked very attractive. High Expectation but Disappointed
I purchased the personalised pizza as a I wanted to give a unique gift to my friend's daughter for her 18th birthday. She loves chocolate so this seemed the perfect choice. When the delivery arrived, however, I was disappointed to see that the toppings were minimal but, not only that, the personalied white chocolate button was not in the centre and also offset. As the pizza arrives sealed, I could not rotate it to at least have the writing straight as you opened the box. Such a small detail, in reality, but if more care was taken in positioning the button correctly it would have looked perfect and, after all, this is what you want from such a gift .. a 'wow' first impression.
Thank you for your feedback which I have passed on to our senior management team. From experience, it sounds like the plaque has moved in transit as it would have been placed centrally when being made.

Lovely Xmas extra
I ordered 2 football mini pizzas and 2 other mini pizzas. Football ones were great and as they are stocking fillers the small size was fine. Both with a chocolate football in the centre. The other 2 were flavoured mini pizzas. The jelly bean one was ok but no centre sweet however plenty of jelly beans but the white strawberry one had no ’ centre’ sweet as shown in the picture. Was disappointed in this as it looked unfinished. I was offered a gift card to write a message so I chose ‘ merry christmas’ You sent me one card with this message and there were 4 mini pizzas. You gets the wishes? This order was obviously for 4 different relatives/ children. However I have ordered before from this company for the bigger sized pizza and they have been all lovely.

I can see you ordered our Raspberrymac mini pizza – this product doesn’t come with a central plaque, unlike our Strawberry mini which does come with the decoration. There was maybe a little confusion at the point of ordering here - I have passed on your feedback to our product development coordinator. I also wanted to apologise for any misunderstanding with the gift card sent with your order. Our automated system allows for a single gift card to be input for each order. If you were to place another order with us in the future and wanted more than one gift card we would be more than happy to accommodate you – simply drop us an email with your order number and we can arrange this.

Apparently delicious chocolate! Great gift
Bought one of these instead of a card to send to my sister, she loved it. Didn't get to try it myself but apparently the chocolate was fantastic.

Good communication and fast service
Haven’t tried these hot chocolates yet as they are for Christmas Eve boxes but the service was fab and would highly recommend.

Have used gourmet pizza chocolate company a few times, and it never disappoints. Excellent service and excellent chocolate. I bought the pizzas and the Halloween gifts as presents and I know they will make very happy recipients.

Amazing pizzas!!!
Yet another lot of these amazing pizzas to give as gifts. They are always well received, there is a huge amount of choice, white, milk and dark chocolate, all of which are delicious. I actually ordered one for myself this time, to me love me!! The postal service is great. I would recommend not leaving it until the last minute to order, as December is a busy time, read a lot of complaints about delivery, when people have not really allowed long enough. Any delays are not a reflection on Gourmet Chocolate Pizza, orders are processed promptly, sent well packaged in beautiful boxes.

Good product, good service

Chocolate pizza
Usually spot on but disc centre part (personalised middle bit) had cracked all down the middle splitting in two. Did not complain as I gave as a gift anyway due to not having time to return and wait for new one. Tasted delicious as always, lovely gift.
We are so sorry that the disc got broken in transit but pleased to hear that the gift was enjoyed.

Awaiting for the Festive season !!!
All my gourmet chocolate pizza pieces are awaiting for the Festive season !!! They look super. The mini ones, with football, or Unicorn, for Great Grandchildrens stockings ! The Pizza slices to go in the Big Peoples parcels !! So without tasting, then replacing !!! Am sure they will taste as wonderful as they look !

Great customer service!
I purchased 2 pizzas and unfortunately the plaques were both damaged in the post. I contacted the customer services department and they couldn't have been more helpful. They offered to replace them both or offer me a full refund. I didn't have time to wait for replacements and felt it unfair that they should refund me for both so I suggested we compromise and they refunded me for the cost of 1 pizza. The recipients were understanding and I am sure enjoyed the chocolate regardless! I would not hesitate to use this company again as I was so impressed!
